Fieldsets & Backgrounds that work in all Browsers!

So Funny thing, I was working with another project and ran into the ever-elusive fieldset bug regarding backgrounds.   Basically in Internet Explorer the background bleeds above the top of the fieldset border and makes it look like… well crap, just crappy.   Being the kind of guy I am and not settling for anything less than expected, I came up with a solution that works rather well I think and requires NO additional markup.

If you need help or can’t get it quite right post a comment, I love to help.

Demo (Obviously look at it in Internet Explorer)

Tried to follow your “demo link” in this page: http://stickmanlabs.com/2007/04/20/fieldsets-backgrounds-that-work-in-all-browsers/

but got your “page not found” message.

  2. Yes I would really like to checkout this demo too. Also you should take a look at the size of the type in this form field in Firefox in Mac OSX. So tiny I can barely read what I am writing.
